During the past week, three training sessions were held, led by Dr. Valentina Pavlovi\u0107 Vinogradac, organized by the Croatian Telecommunications Union and the Republic Workers' Union, as part of the ESF+ project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trainings were focused on the development of key business and communication skills, and through an interactive approach and exchange of experiences, the participants dealt with topics such as conflicts of interest and their management, effective time management, and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special emphasis is placed on understanding different types of interests (real, potential and hidden), as well as challenges that affect the negotiation process, such as time constraints, intellectual capacities and bias. Within the framework of time management, topics of the relationship between time invested and results achieved, energy management and the importance of maintaining mental health were addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the negotiation segment, participants were introduced to the Harvard model, which emphasizes the importance of separating people from problems, focusing on interests instead of positions, creating multiple possible solutions, and making decisions based on objective criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difference between a distributive and an integrative approach to negotiation, with the aim of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes, was also highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the training was to empower participants for effective communication, quality time management, and successful negotiation in everyday work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is co-financed by the European Union through the ESF+ program.<\/p>\n\n\n
