Education on conflicts, communication and social dialogue in the digital economy

As part of the project "Challenges of Social Dialogue in the Digital Economy: Focus on the Private Sector and ICT", an educational workshop was held in Osijek on May 14, 2026, aimed at strengthening the participants' competencies in the areas of teamwork, communication and effective conflict management.

The workshop was led by an expert, Prof. Dr. Sc. Velimir Srića, who, through interactive lectures and discussions, introduced the participants to the key challenges and opportunities of the modern work environment.

The workshop program covered the topics of conflict and teamwork.

During the education the importance of quality communication, building mutual trust and developing collaborative relationships within organizations was emphasized. Participants had the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and exchange experiences on ways to create effective and motivated teams that can successfully respond to the challenges of the digital age.

Special emphasis was placed on:

  • development of effective and successful teams
  • strengthening team relations and cooperation
  • improving the collective bargaining process
  • ecognizing and avoiding the most common mistakes in union organizing
  • constructive conflict management and turning them into opportunities for development

Through dynamic discussion and practical examples, participants gained useful tools for improving organizational culture and strengthening social dialogue in the private sector and the ICT industry.

We would like to thank all participants for their active participation, valuable contributions and exchange of experiences that further enriched the content of the workshop.
