The Republic Workers’ Union was founded on October 16, 2010, under the name Croatian Telecommunications Workers’ Union (abbreviated as "SRHT"), with its headquarters at Trg sv. Florijana 2 in Križevci. The union was established by employees of HT – Croatian Telekom (Hrvatske telekomunikacije d.d.) from across the entire Republic of Croatia. Today, the Republic Workers’ Union (RSR) represents members in more than a hundred companies across various industries throughout the Republic of Croatia. Our members primarily come from sectors such as telecommunications, postal services, private security (protection of persons and property), agriculture and forestry, gaming and betting, banking and insurance services, wholesale and retail trade, cleaning and maintenance, and others.

Protecting workers through quality collective agreements and by electing responsible representatives to works councils. Our work is guided by fairness, equality, solidarity, and the well-being of all members.

To become a union that provides its members with a high level of protection for their rights and acts as a legitimate and respected representative of their interests.
